Chevron drag bits are designed to drill in medium to hard formations.
Most common area of use are, in a lot of rock or tougher gravel & shale drilling. Also used in the oilfield for various drilling applications.

- a solid one piece heat treated, 4140 alloy steel body for bit strength & durability
- hardness rated 28-32 Rockwell
- 3/16 Tungsten carbide profile cutting edges
- Ultra high strength brazing to ensure bit toughness
